Twitter Counter is the no 1. statistics service on top of Twitter. Tracking stats for over 20 million Twitter users and serving Pro stats to over a thousand clients including 14% of the Fortune 500 companies.

Paydro is an online ticket service for business events. It has a unique mix of payment methods (Credit Cards, debit payments and payments via invoice) that serves all business focussed events.

SquadCoach is a fantasy football game. Its goal is to engage football fans from all over the world and bring them a state of the art fantasy football game for multiple competitions available in multiple languages across several platforms (Facebook game, web and mobile)

Summary

I’m an internet entrepreneur, based out of Amsterdam and I love the web, its possibilities and the people creating all the cool stuff. I love to read about technology, innovation, and I try to keep track of all new and cool stuff.

In 2006 I co-founded The Next Web.
The Next Web has three branches, Media, Events and Labs. TheNextWeb.com is part of TNW Media and is a leading technology blog. Ranked in the top 10 blogs (all-topics) in the world.

TNW Events are known for its unparalleled conferences and fun events. The biggest event is the yearly TNW conference in Amsterdam, where the world of web and mobile comes together for business, inspiration and fun. ( http://thenextweb.com/conference )

My WorldCup 2010 Experience

No 1 Youtube channel in NL
Together with Cycy Sanders I covered the WorldCup 2010 in South Africa from a fan perspective. In 36 days we made 50 videos. Our Youtube Channel was an instant hit and came out of nowhere. For 2 months we were the most viewed Youtube Channel in the Netherlands and no 44 in the world. All content was in Dutch.
